Nneka - My Home

I just went to the Nneka concert last night at the Doug Fir Lounge, and she is great live. She has funny and easy dialogue with the audience and provides some background for her songs. Her tour is still going on through April.

"My Home" is the first single off her most recent album. There's a good review of the album, Soul is Heavy, here.

Nneka - Heartbeats

This song's been out for a couple years, but I've just recently become a fan. Nneka is German-Nigerian, and just released a new album last year, Soul is Heavy.

She is touring in North America in March.
