Arizona wedding

I'm going to an old friend's wedding in Phoenix this weekend and wearing something like the outfit below.  I don't think I'll need either the sweater or scarf as a cover-up seeing as it's supposed to be 94 on Saturday, but this Oregon-girl can't imagine it not getting cold at night.

Currently Craving: Winter Jackets

The rain has started here in Portland, so it's time to look once more at pulling out the winter jackets.  While I already have quite the collection, here are some of the jackets I've been craving recently.

Pink pants

{Sweater: J. Crew (old, similar to this); Long sleeve tee: Banana Republic; Capris: J. Crew; Heels: Zara (old); Jewelry: Michael Kors, J. Crew, David Aubrey from Fuchsia}

My new bright fuchsia pants from J. Crew, which I think are still available on sale. After a couple of sneaky nice days, the weather has been terrible again, so I've been resorting to wearing bright colors as the only sign of spring.

Finally wore my new Zara dress (now on sale!) to work the other day. It was so cold out that the scarf and jacket were necessary.

Polka dots & cap toe pumps

Those Zara pumps and a new Equipment blouse showed up in the mail, and I wore roughly the following outfit to work and then out to dinner and a concert on Wednesday night.

It's been getting dark at around 4:30 pm here, so I haven't managed to get a picture of any outfits yet, but hopefully there will be some time for that over the weekend, during the daylight hours.

I wore the blouse with my J.Crew wool capris from a couple years ago, kind of like these, but the Alexander Wang capris were the closest thing available on Polyvore. Also, I wore a lovely pair of earring by a local Portland jewelry artist, Lulu, kind of like these, but with black stones instead of turquoise or pearl.

The blouse is so oversized, I felt like I needed the skinny capris to offset the silhouette. What else would you pair with it?

Trend Following: Cap Toe Pumps

I've been craving some cap toe pumps since seeing a whole variety of them on red carpets, although these pairs were definitely out of my price range.

Then I saw this pair from Zara:

And shortly afterwards saw them on a number of fashion blogs this fall. I finally ordered them the other day and so have been eagerly awaiting them in the mail.
